He has announced that the Chief Minister, Minister, CPS, and Chairman will not take their salary and allowances for the next two months. That is, their allowances have been delayed for two months. The Chief Minister made this announcement in the Assembly and also urged all the MLAs to delay their salary and allowances on a voluntary basis.

He said that in view of the adverse financial situation of the state, I delay my salary and allowances for two months, including the members of my cabinet and Chief Parliamentary Secretaries.
