More than 28 thousand retired officers and employees in the electricity board, liabilities of 972 crores
The number of retired officers and employees in Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited is 28206. A total of 972 crores is payable in their pension and other items. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu gave this information in a written reply to the question of Paonta Sahib MLA Sukh Ram Chaudhary.
Shimla, August 28: The number of retired officers and employees in Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited is 28206. A total of 972 crores is payable in their pension and other items. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu gave this information in a written reply to the question of Paonta Sahib MLA Sukh Ram Chaudhary.
He said that the payment of pension and other liabilities of retired officers and employees is being made in a phased manner according to the availability of funds. In a written reply to the question of Hamirpur MLA Ashish Sharma, AYUSH Minister Yadavinder Goma said that 4813 posts of various categories are sanctioned in the AYUSH department. Out of these, 999 posts are vacant and the government is continuously trying to fill them. He said that no new Ayurvedic health institution has been opened in the state after January 1, 2023.
In a written reply to the question of Bhoranj MLA Suresh Kumar, Health and Family Welfare Minister Colonel Dhani Ram Shandil said that 82 private de-addiction centres have been established in the state. These centres have been registered under the Mental Health Care Act 2017. He said that three people have died in private de-addiction centres. These deaths have occurred in private de-addiction centres of Solan, Mandi and Hamirpur.
In a written reply to the question of Bharmour MLA Dr. Janak Raj, Education Minister Rohit Thakur said that under the Mid Day Meal Scheme in the state, Mid Day Meal workers are given an honorarium of Rs 4500 per month for ten months in an academic year. These workers are not given honorarium during vacations in schools.
