Himachal Proud: Dr. Plaksha Pant of Paonta Sahib got 967th rank in NEET PG exam across the country
Dr. Plaksha Pant, a promising daughter of Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh, has performed excellently in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET PG 2024) and has secured 967th rank in the entire country.
Paonta Sahib, August 24: Dr. Plaksha Pant, a promising daughter of Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh, has performed excellently in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET PG 2024) and has secured 967th rank in the entire country. Dr. Plaksha achieved this feat with 99.56 percentile. This is an extraordinary success of Dr. Plaksha among about two and a quarter lakh medical graduates from across the country who took part in the examination. Because it cannot be easy to achieve this position coming out of a small town.
Dr. Plaksha Pant started preparing for NEET PG exam after completing MBBS from Tanda Medical College. In this examination, only about 15 to 20 thousand students from all over the country get admission in post graduate course. In such a situation, Dr. Plaksha’s place in the top 1000 (T-1000) is a matter of pride for her parents as well as the entire Sirmaur and is also a big achievement for the region.
Dr. Plaksha received her early education from Silver Bells School in Nahan and after this continued her education in Paonta Sahib and Solan. Mother, Ritu Pant, is a professor of Zoology at Paonta Sahib Degree College, while her father, Dinesh Pant, is working in the field of online projects.
Talking to Local News Network, Dr. Plaksha said that she wanted to become a physician since childhood and she worked hard to make her dreams come true. She told that admission in various departments is based on the exam, and She is proud of this success. She said that at present the cut off is awaited.
It is worth noting that this exam is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), which is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The National Board of Examinations also conducts National Eligibility cum Entrance Examinations for Super Specialty Course (SS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). This achievement of the daughter has not only brought laurels to her parents, but also to the entire Paonta Sahib region.
