Shimla: Pre-nursery recruitment draft will go back to the government before the recruitment agency
Shimla, August 22: Pre-nursery teacher recruitment in Himachal schools will have to wait. After getting approval from the cabinet, the Directorate of Elementary Education is now busy deciding the eligibility criteria. After that it will be sent to the government again and the government will decide by when the two-year diploma holders will be recruited in it.
Actually, the cabinet has given permission to recruit ECEE i.e. Early Childhood Care and Education in 6297 government schools of Himachal. These posts will be filled on outsource and the cabinet itself has asked Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation to provide this manpower. This recruitment will be done according to the norms set by NCTE. According to these norms, Anganwadi workers can also apply for these posts, but these posts are not a profitable deal for Anganwadi. The reason for this is their salary and method of recruitment.
The state government is currently running pre-nursery classes in 6297 schools. Pre-nursery teachers will be appointed in the same number of schools at the rate of one teacher per school. Their recruitment will be done with the money received from the Government of India and a budget of Rs 10,000 has been kept per teacher. If these recruitments are being done through an outsourced agency, then the agency’s fee will also be charged separately. Therefore, there is a fear that these pre-nursery teachers will not be able to get even the full Rs 10,000.
As per the decision taken in the cabinet, the draft will soon be sent to the Electronics Development Corporation by requisition for approval from the government. Then a district-wise list will be made. Currently, only two-year NTT diploma has been kept valid. We are looking at the eligibility criteria in this recruitment. After that, this matter will be sent to the government again and only after that recruitment will be possible.
