Shimla, August 22: A case of molestation of a girl and beating up her brother has come to light. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against the accused and started investigation. The accused has not been arrested yet.
A girl resident of New Shimla police station area has alleged that on August 13, a person named Harpreet, who knew her earlier, came to her house and beat up her brother. According to the victim, the accused also touched her with bad intentions. On this act of his, the neighbors sent him back from there. The accused has also threatened to kill her and her father. The victim also alleged that on August 20, the accused followed her and caught her arm.
On the complaint of the victim, the New Shimla police station has registered an FIR under Section 332C, 74, 78 and 351 (3) of the Indian Penal Code and action is being taken.
