Churah BJP MLA Hans Raj has once again found himself in a controversy as an FIR has been lodged against him accusing him of obscene chatting with a young woman from his constituency.
Chamba, August 19: Churah BJP MLA Hans Raj has once again found himself in a controversy as an FIR has been lodged against him accusing him of obscene chatting with a young woman from his constituency. The complaint was lodged at the women’s police station on August 9, where the woman also expressed apprehension about her safety.
The case lodged against Hans Raj has once again brought him into the limelight as he has been in the news earlier also for his controversial statements. The FIR lodged after the woman approached the police has created widespread concern. Superintendent of Police Abhishek Yadav confirmed the registration of the FIR and said that the matter is being thoroughly investigated. The woman’s statement has been recorded in the Teesa court under Section 164 so that the legal process can move forward.
In response to the allegations, Hans Raj has claimed that the entire episode is a politically motivated conspiracy hatched by Congress leaders to defame him. He says that the girl’s complaint was due to a misunderstanding and now she is ready to withdraw her allegations.
