HPSSC: Four years of wait is over, result of post code 817 declared
Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission (HPSSC) on Friday declared the final result for Junior Office Assistant (IT) post code 817. Candidates had to wait for four long years for the declaration of this result.

Hamirpur, 09 August: Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission (HPSSC) on Friday declared the final result for Junior Office Assistant (IT) post code 817. Candidates had to wait for four long years for the declaration of this result. After a long legal process in the court, finally the result has been released for 1862 posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) post code 817.

More than 2.27 lakh applications were received for these posts, out of which 1.07 lakh candidates appeared in the written examination held on 21 March 2021. After this, a total of 1841 candidates have been selected on the basis of skill typing test and document evaluation. 13 posts of Scheduled Caste (Female Freedom Fighter Family) remained vacant as no candidate was available in this category. Apart from this, 08 other posts have been kept vacant till the final decision of investigation/court cases.

Candidates were curious about the result since morning. The commission has released a detailed result of 60 pages, in which information about the selected candidates has been given.
