Himachal Pradesh to launch Him Access for integrated citizen services
Taking a significant step to enhance citizen services through digital integration, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced the development of a unified online platform ‘Him-Access’.

Shimla, 07 August: Taking a significant step to enhance citizen services through digital integration, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced the development of a unified online platform ‘Him-Access’. The platform aims to integrate all government social security schemes and provide a one-stop solution for citizen-centric services.
Chairing a meeting of the Department of Digital Technology and Governance, Chief Minister Sukhu emphasized the role of the platform in enabling citizens and officials to access multiple departmental applications with a single click. ‘Him-Access’, to be launched in October, will initially offer 261 services currently available on the e-District portal.

- Integrated Access: ‘Him-Access’ will integrate various government services, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data across state applications.
- Technological Integration: The platform will incorporate modern technology to streamline operations, reduce human error and enhance data management.
- Efficiency and Transparency: By leveraging digital tools, the platform aims to provide prompt, transparent and accountable services to the citizens of Himachal Pradesh.
Expansion and future plans
Chief Minister Sukhu also directed to develop dedicated websites for Milkfed and Natural Farming. These initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to integrate advanced technology in departmental operations, facilitating efficient and citizen-centric services.
Enhancing service delivery
Apart from ‘Him-Access’, the state government plans to strengthen the Mukhya Mantri Sewa Sankalp Helpline and launch a chatbot to further streamline service delivery and enhance citizen interaction.
Gokul Butail, Principal Advisor (IT and Innovation) to the Chief Minister, highlighted that incorporating advanced technology in government operations will lead to a more effective, efficient and transparent system. By providing services at the doorstep of citizens, the state aims to significantly improve the ease and speed of accessing government services.
