BJP accuses Congress MLA of illegal mining in Nalagarh

Nalagarh, August 4: In a significant political development, BJP leader Paramjit Singh Pammi has levelled serious allegations against the Congress government and MLA Ram Kumar over illegal mining activities. Pammi’s allegations come amid growing concerns about environmental and regulatory violations in the region.

Pammi claimed that residents of Malpur village in Nalagarh tehsil had recently raised concerns about illegal mining activities in their area. According to the complaints, mining operations were being carried out with trucks and JCB machines, which led to a response from local law enforcement. The police intervened and took action to stop the illegal activities, an effort that Pammi acknowledged and appreciated the vigilance of the local community.

Highlighting the broader context, Pammi pointed out that illegal mining has been a serious and ongoing problem in Nalagarh and Baddi, and the administration’s efforts have so far proved inadequate in effectively tackling the problem. He accused Congress MLA Ram Kumar of carrying out these illegal operations in both Nalagarh and Solan. Pammi has called on Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to work with the police and industries departments to take decisive action against those involved. He stressed the need for a thorough investigation and concrete steps to ensure that no person escapes prosecution due to political influence.
