Kullu, 26 July: News has been received of a private bus going from Manali to Pathankot crashing in Himachal Pradesh. According to preliminary information, about 10 people have been injured in the accident. At present, there is no news of any passenger dying. This accident happened when this bus of Prem Service Transport was going from Manali to Pathankot and during this time near a place called Bahnu, this bus went out of control and got stuck on the banks of the Beas River. Due to which 10 people on the bus have been injured, who are being taken to the Manali Community Health Center for treatment. It is known that at the time of the accident, the bus has also damaged a vehicle.

According to the information received, the people on the bus have suffered minor injuries. The water level in the Beas River was not high, probably due to this a major accident has been averted. It is also being told that due to the collapse of a part of the road, the bus went out of control and rolled towards the river. Immediately after the accident, relief and rescue operations have been started. The local administration is taking stock of the situation by reaching the spot and the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital for first aid. A detailed investigation of the incident is going on and the real causes of the accident will be known only after getting detailed information.

The affected families have been assured of all possible help by the administration. Local residents have also done a commendable job by coming forward to help the injured. This incident has once again highlighted the issue of road safety and appropriate action is expected from the concerned authorities.

On the other hand, DSP KD Sharma of Manali said that information about the bus accident has been received, after getting the information, the police force has reached the spot which is engaged in relief and rescue work. He said that the police has started investigating the real causes of the accident.
