Shimla, July 23: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has declared the result of HAS preliminary examination. This examination was conducted on 30 June 2024. The result has been declared and made available on the official website of the commission.
An official of the State Selection Commission gave this information on Tuesday. He said that the candidates who passed this examination will have to apply afresh for the main examination of HAS. For this, the process of online application will start from 27 July and will run till 16 August. Important information and guidelines related to this will be made available soon on the official website of the commission.
He said that in the main examination-2024, there has been a change in the pattern/format of questions in General Studies paper-1, 2 and 3. The main examination will be of 200 marks and answers of 20 questions will have to be written in it. There will be 10 questions of medium answer type and the word limit for writing in them will be 150 words. The maximum marks for each question will be eight. Similarly, there will be 10 long answer type questions in which the word limit will be 225 words and each question will carry a maximum of 12 marks.
