Shimla, July 20: The Himachal Pradesh government has promoted four IPS officers to the post of Director General of Police.
This includes three IPS officers of 1993 batch and one IPS officer of 1994 batch.
This decision has been taken on the recommendation of the screening committee. A notification has been issued by Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena in this regard.
According to the order, 1993 batch IPS officers Anurag Garg, Ashok Tiwari and Ritwik Rudra have been promoted on the basis of proforma, while 1994 batch IPS officer Rakesh Agarwal has been promoted on regular basis.
