Himachal: 46-year-old man working as a pharmacist in the Animal Husbandry Department commits suicide, no information yet on recovery of suicide note
46-year-old Joginder Singh, son of Omi Ram, resident of Thandidhar, working as a pharmacist in the Animal Husbandry Department in Rajgarh subdivision, committed suicide.
Nahan, July 20: Two incidents of suicide have come to light in Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh. 46-year-old Joginder Singh, son of Omi Ram, resident of Thandidhar, working as a pharmacist in the Animal Husbandry Department in Rajgarh subdivision, committed suicide. According to preliminary information, the deceased Joginder Singh had built his residential house in Kotli itself. In this house, the pharmacist ended his life by hanging himself from a fan.
According to the information received, his wife took Joginder Singh to Rajgarh hospital, but he was declared broad dead by the doctors.
On the other hand, 36-year-old Surjeet Kumar, son of Khem Ram, a resident of Lakhimpur in Uttar Pradesh, ended his life by hanging himself from a tree in the forest under Pataliyon Gram Panchayat of Paonta Sahib subdivision.
The police had received information that a person was hanging from a rope from a thick branch of a banyan tree in the forest at a distance of about 150 meters from the canal. There was a ditch about 20 feet deep below. With great difficulty the police brought the body down from the tree.
No injury marks were found on the body. According to the police, the 21 and 18 year old sons of the deceased rushed to the spot. Sarvjeet and Vikas identified the body of their father.
On the other hand, the police sent the body to Paonta Hospital for postmortem. There is no information yet about recovery of suicide note in both the incidents of ending the life.
