Himachal Shocked: Youth murdered after assault in de-addiction centre, operator absconding
A case of murder of a youth of Ghalera of Tauni Devi area has come to light in the drug de-addiction center of Bani under Barsar police station of Hamirpur district.
Hamirpur, July 14:A case of murder of a youth of Ghalera of Tauni Devi area has come to light in the drug de-addiction center of Bani under Barsar police station of Hamirpur district.
Hamirpur police received information about this incident on Sunday morning. Hamirpur District Police Administration Superintendent Bhagat Singh reached the spot and inspected and took the body in custody and sent it for post-mortem.

The forensic team has also been called to the spot for investigation. Initial investigation revealed that the youth was beaten up on Friday and died on Saturday night. The operator of the de-addiction centre is currently absconding. Hamirpur District Superintendent of Police Administration Bhagat Singh said that the entire case is being investigated thoroughly. The reasons for the murder are not known at present.
