Himachal News: Three youths from Nadaun arrested with 4.35 grams of chitta in Una

All three youths got scared after seeing the police. On searching on the basis of suspicion, 4.35 grams of chitta was recovered from their possession, which was taken into possession by the team of Gagret police station.

Hamirpur, July 12: The team of Gagret Police Station of Una district of Himachal Pradesh has arrested three youths of Nadaun Assembly constituency in the case of chitta. Two of these youths are from Chunan village near Nadaun city, while another youth is from Bhadoli village of Jwalamukhi area situated on the banks of Vyas river adjoining Nadaun.

According to the information received, the team of Gagret police station during patrolling stopped three youths coming on a bike from Punjab near Ichhadhari temple Gagret for investigation.

All three youths got scared after seeing the police. On searching on the basis of suspicion, 4.35 grams of chitta was recovered from their possession, which was taken into possession by the team of Gagret police station.

The arrested youths have been identified as Vishal Sharma son of Surendra Kumar, Ankit Sharma son of Surendra Kumar resident of village Chunan, post office Jalari, tehsil Nadaun, district Hamirpur and Rohit Kumar son of Ganesh Kumar resident of village post office Bhadoli, tehsil Jawalamukhi, district Kangra. Gagret police has registered a case against the accused and started further investigation. DSP Amb Vasudha Sood has confirmed the case.
