Anurag Thakur targets Congress in Hamirpur by-election
Hamirpur, July 9: Former Union Minister and MP Anurag Thakur on Monday, on the last day of the campaign for the Hamirpur Assembly by-election, held a huge roadshow along with BJP candidate Shri Ashish Sharma, passing through many villages and small markets of Hamirpur Assembly. On this occasion, Anurag Thakur made serious allegations against the ruling Congress government of Himachal Pradesh of corruption and ignoring the interests of the people.
Thakur said the ruling Congress government was silent on corruption and was misusing the government machinery to influence the elections.
He said this was the first time a government was seeking votes from the people without any achievements. He alleged that the Himachal Pradesh government had failed to fulfill its guarantees and had increased inflation and debt burden. Thakur expressed confidence that the people would teach the Congress a lesson in all the three assembly by-elections and make the BJP victorious with a huge majority.
This grand road show organized by the BJP Mandal started from Ukhli and ended at Hamirpur bypass via Pandvi, Bhagetu, Aghar, Tikkar, Tal, Amned, Chamned, Baloh, Thankri, Lamblu, Bohni, Badu, Hamirpur Bazaar, Amroh Chowk, Neri, Nalti, Nara, Changar, Dhaned, Lalin, Bari, Bajuri.

During this, BJP candidate Ashish Sharma met voters in various areas and appealed to vote in favor of BJP. He also carried out a door-to-door contact campaign in Hamirpur Bazaar, where he took blessings of traders and residents.
Sharma said that the crowd gathered in the road show and the convoy of vehicles have made it clear that this time BJP will win the Hamirpur assembly seat with a huge majority. He accused the Congress of spreading false propaganda but said that the people of Hamirpur know the BJP and its character and will make them victorious with a huge majority on July 10.
Sharma expressed his gratitude to all the Karyakartas and supporters involved in the road show and said that the strength of the Karyakartas makes him strong. He hoped that the people of Hamirpur will show the same enthusiasm during the voting and will cast bumper votes in favour of BJP.
