Dehra, July 08: Himachal Pradesh’s Hon’ble Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu campaigned at many places under Dehra Assembly constituency. CM Sukhu said that the present Congress government has released more than 28000 government jobs in its one and a half year tenure, the recruitment process for which has already started. These include 5291 posts of teachers in the Education Department, ten thousand posts in various categories in the Water Power Department, 2061 posts of Van Mitras in the Forest Department, 1450 posts in various categories in the Health Department, 874 posts of Patwaris, 1226 posts of Police Constables.
CM Sukhu said that Jairam Thakur created only 20,000 jobs in the government sector during his 5-year tenure, most of which were stuck in legal complications.
The CM said that the present Himachal Pradesh government has provided 30 percent reservation to women in police recruitment and has given one year relaxation in maximum age to all the candidates.
The CM said that in the cabinet meeting, the recruitment of 6297 early care and education tutors has been given the green signal to start a comprehensive early childhood care and education program under the National Education Policy-2020.
He said that in the coming time, more jobs will be created in the government sector and merit and transparency will be ensured in recruitments.
CM Sukhu said that during the last five years of BJP’s tenure, there has been a big decline in the field of education and in terms of quality education, Himachal Pradesh has reached 18th place in the country.
The CM said that the present Congress government is trying to improve the level of education in the state and many steps are being taken to increase the basic facilities in schools. He said that to provide better education to the students in rural areas, the state government is opening Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding School in a phased manner, where the all-round development of the students will be ensured.
Attacking former MLA Hoshyar Singh, CM Sukhu said that no one resigns from his MLA post just like that. He said that due to arrogance and greed for money, Hoshyar Singh has sold his MLA post by trading public sentiments.

Hoshyar Singh’s intellect got corrupted due to the influence of money, but this will be a boon for the rise of Dehra.
