Police investigating on the spot
Solan, June 28: A sensational incident of murder of a migrant woman from Jharkhand has come to light in Kleen of Ward No. 3 of Solan city of Himachal Pradesh.
Initial investigation by Solan police has revealed that an attempt was made to forcefully have physical relations with a migrant woman from Jharkhand. During this, the victim woman also resisted.
A thorough investigation of the entire case is underway and it is being said that the victim woman was killed because of her resistance.
Solan District Police Administration Superintendent Gaurav Singh along with a heavy police force is present at the spot to investigate the entire matter.
The Solan Police team has also called the forensic team and the woman’s body is going to be sent for post-mortem only after forensic investigation.
According to information received from Solan Police, the 34-year-old deceased woman has been identified as Suman, a resident of Jharkhand.

A Solan Police official said that a person has been detained in the case of Suman’s murder, who is being questioned.
Let us tell you that the four children of the deceased Suman had gone to school. When the children returned home in the afternoon, they found that the door of the house was open. Seeing their mother dead, the children started crying loudly and after this the entire matter was reported to the Solan Police.
It is also being said that the deceased Suman’s husband Mukesh is a resident of Panipat in Haryana, he works as a mason in Solan city.
The landlord informed the deceased Suman’s husband Mukesh about the entire incident over the phone.
The officer said that Suman’s body was found naked, due to which it is being speculated that Suman was murdered with a sharp knife.
Solan District Superintendent of Police Administration, Gaurav Singh said that in the case of Suman’s murder, a person has been taken into custody and rigorous interrogation is underway. He said that only after the forensic investigation will it be known how Suman was killed.
