Swearing-in ceremony: Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania administered oath of office and secrecy to six newly elected MLAs of Himachal Pradesh

In the oath taking ceremony of six newly elected MLAs held in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly premises, four MLAs of the ruling Congress Party and two MLAs of the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania on Wednesday.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 12 :Six newly elected MLAs, who were declared victorious by the Election Commission in the by-elections held on six assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh, were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania on Wednesday. Honourable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur along with all other ministers and MLAs have registered their dignified presence in the oath taking ceremony of six newly elected MLAs.

In the oath taking ceremony of six newly elected MLAs held in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly premises, four MLAs of the ruling Congress Party and two MLAs of the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania on Wednesday.

Let us tell you that on behalf of the ruling Congress party, newly elected MLA of Lahaul Spiti assembly constituency Anuradha Rana, newly elected MLA from Gagret assembly constituency Rakesh Kalia, newly elected MLA from Kutlehar assembly constituency Vivek Sharma and newly elected MLA from Sujanpur assembly constituency Captain Ranjit Singh Rana as well as newly elected MLA from Dharamshala assembly constituency Sudhir Sharma and newly elected MLA from Barsar assembly constituency Inder Dutt Lakhanpal from the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania on Wednesday.

After the oath taking ceremony of six newly elected MLAs of Himachal Pradesh Assembly, all the newly elected MLAs said that they have reached the Himachal Pradesh Assembly with the blessings of the god-like people of their respective assembly constituencies and are going to strongly raise all the issues of their respective assembly constituencies before the Himachal Pradesh government. All the newly elected MLAs said that with the cooperation of the Himachal Pradesh government, efforts are going to be made to take forward the development works of their respective assembly constituencies.

During the oath taking ceremony, the honourable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the Bharatiya Janata Party was making false claims of forming the government in Himachal Pradesh on June 4, but the godlike people of Himachal Pradesh have blessed the Congress Party and ensured victory of Congress MLAs on four more assembly seats.

The CM said that the Congress government of Himachal Pradesh has become completely strong and will work strongly for the people of Himachal Pradesh for three and a half years.

Leader of Opposition in Himachal Pradesh Assembly, Jairam Thakur said that the BJP has performed brilliantly in the Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections and the people have blessed the BJP on all the four Lok Sabha seats of Himachal Pradesh, along with this, two MLAs have also increased for the BJP.

Jairam Thakur said that the BJP has got a lead in 61 out of 68 assembly constituencies. He said that the BJP will also perform brilliantly in the by-elections to be held on three more assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh and the BJP high command is going to take a decision on the tickets soon.
