HP Tourism Department issues new guidelines on sudden death of paraglider in Himachal
Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department has made it clear that if even a small complaint is received then the license of that paraglider will be directly canceled and a provision of five years imprisonment has also been made.

The biggest reason that has come to light in the investigation is that the paragliders coming from India and abroad for paragliding do not follow the prescribed rules And later holds the Himachal government fully responsible for his death.
Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department has made it clear that if even a small complaint is received then the license of that paraglider will be directly canceled and a provision of five years imprisonment has also been made.
Tourism Department official said that now it has been made mandatory for all paragliders to complete the two-year SIV (‘Simulation d’Incident en Vol’) paragliding course and all paragliders will also be registered with the Himachal Tourism Department and if any paraglider does not complete the two-year SIV paragliding course, then his license will be canceled
The officer said that by sending a special letter to all the districts headquarters, orders have been issued to form a three-member team to keep a special watch on paragliding activities. The team will include the DTO, Deputy Director of the district as well as a senior police officer And this team will make a secret visit to the paragliding site and if any irregularities are found, the license will be canceled and the accused will be sent behind the bars.
