Shimla: Governor Hoisted The Flag And Saluted The March Past At Ridge Ground.
On this occasion, the Governor called upon the people of the state to fight to control the increasing drug addiction. Also appealed to vote enthusiastically in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, April 15: On the 76th foundation day of Himachal Day, a state level program was organized at Ridge Ground in Shimla, in which Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla participated as the chief guest. Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla hoisted the flag, inspected the parade and took the salute of the march past.

14 contingents took part in the parade which included District Police, Home Defence, Traffic Police, NSS, Scouts and Guides and Police and Home Defense Band personnel.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Ministers, MP Pratibha Singh and other dignitaries were present.

After this, colorful cultural programs were organized in which excellent artists from districts Kangra, Hamirpur, Mandi and Sirmour entertained the people by giving presentations.
