Mandi Politics: Jairam Thakur met Kangana Ranaut, made strategy for Lok Sabha elections

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, March 31:  Former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur reached Sarkaghat Assembly constituency of Mandi parliamentary constituency on Sunday morning. During this, Jairam Thakur reached Bhambla, the house of BJP candidate and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. Kangana Ranaut gave a warm welcome to Jairam Thakur on reaching here. At the same time, Jairam Thakur congratulated Kangana Ranaut for getting BJP ticket from Mandi parliamentary constituency. During this time there was a discussion between the two regarding the outline of the upcoming campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. During this, local MLA Dalip Thakur was also present with him.

Let us tell you that in view of the Lok Sabha elections, BJP is going to organize a meeting on Monday in the Bhimakali temple complex located at Mandi district headquarters. In which BJP state officials, MLAs/candidates of 2022, State Working Committee members, District officials, Mandal presidents and General Secretaries, Mandal expanders, Morcha state officials, Morcha district presidents and state convenors of General Secretary cells, State IT Social Media Department and Parliamentary constituency convenor co-convenor, district convenor, co-convenor, president and vice president of Nagar Panchayat, Municipal Council, Municipal Corporation, BDC and Zilla Parishad will attend the meeting. Former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, State BJP President Dr. Rajeev Bindal and party’s parliamentary seat candidate Kangana Ranaut will also be present in this meeting.

It is noteworthy that BJP has fielded Kangana Ranaut from Mandi Lok Sabha seat. At the same time, Kangana has also geared up for the Lok Sabha election campaign. On Friday, March 29, Kangana started the election campaign by holding a road show from Baldwara. However, Kangana Ranaut’s Sarkaghat tour was canceled due to bad weather on Saturday, March 30. Meanwhile, today Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur went to Kangana Ranaut’s house and met her.
