By Clicking On a Link in Himachal, A bank employee lost Rs 2.25 lakh
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, March 31: An employee working in the branch of Punjab National Bank located on Old Hoshiarpur Road in Una district of Himachal Pradesh has been cheated online of about Rs 2.25 lakh. The bank employee has given a complaint to the police regarding the matter. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case against an unknown criminal and started investigation.

In the complaint given to the police, bank employee Akshay Kumar, resident of Ambehra Dheeraj Village, Bangana told that on March 29, a link came in my mobile phone, which I opened. After some time, OTP started coming on the mobile phone. Akshay Kumar told that when he got suspicious, he checked his accounts and found that a total of Rs 2,26,000 had been debited from three different accounts.

Complainant bank employee Akshay Kumar told in his complaint to the police that he has also given a complaint to the cyber cell of the bank against the unknown miscreant.
On the other hand, Superintendent of Police Una Rakesh Singh said that on the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case against an unknown person and started investigation. Further action is being implemented.
