Solan News: Fire Breaks Out In Fan Manufacturing Company In Katha, Loss Worth Lakhs

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Baddi (Solan), March 26: A fire broke out at fan manufacturing company Mark Enterprises in Katha of Solan district of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday evening. The workers had gone after taking leave from Mark Enterprises Company. This did not cause any major damage. Goods worth lakhs were burnt in the fire. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. The fire could not be controlled till the time of writing the news.

A sudden fire broke out at around 6:00 pm on Tuesday evening in fan manufacturing company Mark Enterprises near ESIC Hospital in Katha, Baddi. As soon as the fire broke out, Mark Enterprises company operators informed the fire brigade. Fire tenders from Baddi reached the spot, but by then the fire had spread rapidly. Apart from the fire department, fire tenders have also been called from Birla, Vardhaman Company and Nalagarh. The fire in the chemical drum has further flared up due to the spread of the fire.

Mark Enterprises company operators have completely covered the company from behind. There is no empty space. There is a danger of fire spreading to the adjacent company as well. As soon as the information was received, SP Ilma Afroz, ASP Ashok Verma, DSP Khajana Ram reached the spot.

DSP Khajana Ram said that the fire is spreading rapidly. Fire brigade from Nalagarh has also been called to the spot.
