Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 14: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth Rs 509 crore 18 lakh in Palampur, Jaisinghpur and Sullah assembly constituencies during his one-day visit to Kangra district on Thursday. During this, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works worth a total of Rs 140 crore 67 lakh in Jaisinghpur assembly constituency, Rs 302 crore 51 lakh in Palampur constituency and about Rs 66 crore in Sullah assembly constituency.

The Chief Minister inaugurated two projects worth Rs 13 crore 30 lakh and laid the foundation stone of 15 projects worth Rs 127 crore 37 lakh in Jaisinghpur assembly constituency. CM Sukhu inaugurated the sub-tehsil office building Alampur built at a cost of Rs 2 crore 26 lakh and the upgradation work of the lift drinking water scheme Draman Jalag built under Jaljeevan Mission at a cost of Rs 11 crore 4 lakh.

CM Sukhu inaugurated the facility block of Polytechnic Talwar to be built at a cost of Rs 2 crore 71 lakh, multipurpose indoor stadium Jaisinghpur to be built at a cost of Rs 10 crore, Rajiv Gandhi Model Day Boarding School Jaisinghpur to be built at a cost of Rs 5 crore, Kuru Kelan to Kotlu road and bridge over Mand Khad to be built at a cost of Rs 7 crore 15 lakh, remaining work of Nadli to Gharchindi road to be built at a cost of Rs 8 crore, Link road to Ummar village including bridge over Salyali Khad to be built at a cost of Rs 6 crore 30 lakh, bridge over Nyugal Khad on Paprola to Alampur road to be built at a cost of Rs 8 crore 39 lakh, Upgradation work of Dhupkyara Jhunga Devi road at a cost of Rs 9 crore 73 lakh, upgradation work of Nahalna to Gadiada road at a cost of Rs 4 crore 79 lakh, upgradation work of Molag to Maila road at a cost of Rs 6 crore 52 lakh and Laid the foundation stone for the upgradation work of Raipur to Lambagaon via Sugri Da Bagh road at a cost of Rs 5 crore 47 lakh.

CM Sukhu Laid the foundation stone of Lift drinking water scheme of various panchayats of areas adjoining Panchrukhi and Jaisinghpur assembly constituencies from Rs 34 crore 24 lakh, Takruhal Kuhal under flow irrigation scheme from Rs 8 crore 26 lakh, Construction work of Parnuhal Saliana Kuhal and Chhatami Kuhal and Rs 7 crore 59 lakh under flow irrigation scheme of Parnuhal Kuhal, command area development work of Simblu Kuhal and Takruhal Kuhal.

CM Sukhu Laid the foundation stone of 33/11 KV Sub Station Rakkad/Andretta under Jaisinghpur Electricity Board to be built at a cost of Rs 3 crore 23 lakh.

After this, the Chief Minister inaugurated three projects of Jal Shakti Department built at a cost of Rs 33 crore 4 lakh at Villa Camelia in Palampur.At the same time, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of 18 projects of various departments to be built worth Rs 269 crore 47 lakh.

Chief Minister Inaugurated Improvement work of distribution system of areas near Bindh drain and various drinking water supply schemes of Palampur assembly constituency at a cost of Rs 25 crore, Improvement work of Lift Water Supply Scheme to provide domestic connections at Gadiyada, Asanpat and Brahmatraheru from Rs 2 crore 78 lakh, Improvement work of water supply scheme to provide domestic connections in Drognu, Thalla and Bhagotla by Rs. 5 crore 17 lakh.

Chief Minister Laid the foundation stone of Gahar, Spadu, Kandwadi, Rajehar road and bridge construction work worth Rs 6 crore 42 lakh, Rampur, Rajehar, Sarsawa, Kapehan Neelkanth Temple under NABARD from Rs 9 crore 62 lakh, Construction and upgradation work of Bhadraina road, Construction of road and bridges from Patti to Gorat via Harijan and Gujjar Basti under NABARD with Rs 9 crore 3 lakh, Upgradation work of Maniada Kothi road worth Rs 4 crore 28 lakh, Upgradation of Siddhpur Government Mohalla, Kalyadkar Samula Khas road with Rs 9 crore 86 lakh, Upgradation of Jagrena road via Rathan Ropa, Kapoor Basti, Dattal Ghad with Rs 4 crore 72 lakh, 5 crores to Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding School, Kamlehar, Improvement and expansion work of water supply scheme in Municipal Corporation Palampur with Rs 48 crore, Work of providing water and sanitation facilities in Palampur city with Rs 135 crore 40 lakh, Improvement and rehabilitation of flow irrigation scheme Nei Kuhal and head channel and other remaining works with Rs 1 crore 57 lakh, Improvement work of flow irrigation scheme Kusmal Kuhal with Rs 5 crore 10 lakh, Flood protection work in Housing Board Colony Bindraban with Rs 6 crore 78 lakh, Improvement and expansion of water supply scheme Palampur with Rs 10 crore 10 lakh, Construction of parking next to Radha Krishna Temple in Municipal Corporation Palampur Ward No. 2 with one crore, Construction of Municipal Corporation Palampur Commissioner residence with Rs 70 lakh, Construction of community building in Municipal Corporation Palampur area with Rs 2 crore and purchase and installation of toy train in Saurabh Van Vihar with Rs 65 lakh.

The Chief Minister inaugurated ten projects of the Public Works Department constructed at a cost of Rs 59 crore 34 lakh and laid the foundation stone of one project to be constructed at a cost of Rs 6 crore 85 lakh in Sullah Assembly constituency.

CM Sukhu Inaugurated The remaining works of Thural Bachhwai road and span bridge on Newgal Khad, constructed under NABARD at a cost of Rs 10 crore 93 lakh, Link road built with Rs 2 crore 87 lakh from Samana Bhareshwar temple to Bhoda, Link road from Sarva, Kanalpatt, Ramehar, Bhawarna, Bhatti, Samlena Road, built with Rs 5 crore 81 lakh, Link road from Road Panyali to Kolharu, Ghamoon, Galuhi, Kaluna for Rs 7 crore 4 lakh, Upgradation work of link road from Panyali to Dhalera Kholi and Bhadrol to Jhunga Devi temple with a cost of Rs 6 crore 44 lakh, 21 crore three lakh for expansion and strengthening of Paraur Dheera Naura to Pudwa road, Number 6 Type-3 residential complex of Public Works Department constructed in Bhawarna with a cost of Rs 1 crore 72 lakh, Office and residence of Assistant Engineer Thural built with Rs 80 lakh, Elementary Education Divisional Officer Thural office building built at Rs 1 crore 21 lakh and 30 meter span bridge over Tal Khad on Kharuth to Ghanaita via Mahtan Nagar road built at Rs 1 crore 51 lakh.

He laid the foundation stone for the construction work of link road from Warath to Chowki Bharsola via Dhain under NABARD with a cost of Rs 6 crore 85 lakh.
