Chaupal: Bolero Camper Car Rolls Into Deep Ditch, Three Died

A Bolero camper number (HP 63-4993) fell into a ditch last night at a place called Chafalah on Sanrah Road of Chaupal. There were four people in the Bolero camper. Three people have died in the entire accident.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 14: Road accidents are happening every day in Upper Shimla. After Rohru, Theog and Kumarsain, now a serious road accident has occurred in Chaupal sub-division. A Bolero camper number (HP 63-4993) fell into a ditch last night at a place called Chafalah on Sanrah Road of Chaupal. There were four people in the Bolero camper. Three people have died in the entire accident. All of them were residents of Sanrah of Chaupal and were returning home at night.

The deceased have been identified as driver Kamal Prakash (40), son of Jeet Singh, resident of village Dimo, Dev Dutt resident of Garhwali, Rajesh Kumar (33), son of Bhesh Ram, village Sanrah (Chaupal).

The deceased Dev Dutt used to run a shop in Sanrah. The condition of Dinesh Kumar (35), son of Sher Singh, village Banoti Sanrah, who was injured in the accident, is out of danger.

On the complaint of injured Dinesh Kumar, Chaupal police have registered a case and started investigation into the cause of the accident. The cause of the accident is believed to be the negligence of the driver. Post mortem of the dead bodies will be done today.
