HP Govt: Transfer Of Principals In 12 Schools Of Himachal Pradesh, Appointments Made On Vacant Posts

In fact, principals have been transferred from other schools against vacant posts in 12 schools. These transfer orders have been issued by Rakesh Kanwar, Education Secretary, Himachal Government. Due to the transfer order, the posts of principals were lying vacant for a long time in schools of Kangra, Mandi and Bilaspur districts. In such a situation, new appointments have been made in these schools.

It is noteworthy that hundreds of posts of Principal are lying vacant in the government schools of Himachal Pradesh. Now the new session has also started in government schools. In such a situation, there is a demand to fill the vacant posts of principal in government schools as soon as possible.

This year 318 principals will retire from government schools of Himachal Pradesh. However, to ensure that these 318 principals posts do not remain vacant for long, the Education Department has already started the process. School wise details have been prepared from every district as to when the post of Principal will become vacant in which school.

The Education Department has prepared the panel for promotion. The posts of principals will be filled from the lecturer and head master quota. For this, instructions have been issued to complete ACR and other formalities. There is a fixed quota for the head teacher and lecturer cadre to become a principal. Promotion will be done as per quota only. In this, maximum principals will retire from schools of Kangra, Mandi and Shimla districts.
