LPG Cylinder Becomes Cheaper By Rs. 100

The Government of India has reduced the price of LPG cylinder by Rs 100. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given this information by tweeting on microblogging platform X. This step of the Government of India will reduce the financial burden of millions of families across the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted on microblogging platform X and wrote that “Today on the occasion of Women’s Day, we have taken a big decision of discount of Rs. 100 in the prices of LPG cylinders. This will not only make the life of women power easier but will also reduce the financial burden of crores of families. This step will also be helpful in environmental protection, which will also improve the health of the entire family.”

At the same time, in the cabinet meeting on Thursday, the subsidy on PM Ujjwala Scheme has been extended for one year. Before the Lok Sabha elections, the Central Government has taken a big decision. Under PM Ujjwala Yojana, subsidy on LPG cylinders will be available till 31 March 2025. In this way, during the next one year, families covered under PM Ujjwala Yojana will get 12 LPG cylinders with a subsidy of Rs 300 per cylinder.
