The question of joining the cabinet does not arise. The people of Sujanpur have respect. Having said this, Rajinder Rana asked the people present in the meeting for their opinion on this decision by raising their hands. Remembering former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, he said that whatever he said was set in stone. Under the present government, assurances have been given many times behind closed doors. He said that his aim is not to become a minister, but to get the work done for the people. He said that he does not need a big car and a big bungalow. Since 2011, he has been traveling in a big car. Whatever is good for Sujanpur will be done. If a big decision has to be taken then the big decision will also be taken with the consent of the people.

I am a witness to big promises made behind closed doors: Abhishek Rana

Abhishek Rana, son of Sujanpur MLA Rajinder Rana, who resigned from the post of chairman of the social media department of Congress, said that he is a witness to the promises made in the closed-door meetings. There is disappointment when promises are not fulfilled. Now he and his father have been asked by the high command about contesting the Lok Sabha elections. Some people are greedy for tickets, tickets are not big for them. There is no greed to become a minister, it is a matter of honor and respect of Sujanpur.
