Shimla News: Thousands Years Old Eight Storey Temple of Mata Bageshwari Burnt to Ashes

Thousands-year-old eight-storey temple of Mata Bageshwari located in Gram Panchayat Kuthar on the border of Rajgarh and Theog development block has been burnt to ashes.

Devidas Sharma, the priest of Mata Bageshwari temple, while giving complete information about the fire incident in the temple, said that the history of the temple is linked to the Pandavas.

About three hundred and fifty statues of gods and goddesses are installed in the Pandava period temple.

Devidas Sharma told that Mata Bageshwari temple is also the center of faith of the people of Koti Padhog and Matal Bakhog of Gram Panchayat Rajgarh as well as Kuthar and Tikkar Panchayat of Theog development block.

Police and fire department teams reached the spot and started investigating the fire incident.
