Mother Kamalkant Batra, who gave birth to a brave man like martyr Captain Vikram Batra, died on Wednesday at her residence in Palampur. Kamalkant Batra was 77 years old.
Let us tell you that Kamalkant Batra was known as Veer Mata. Kamalkant Batra had accepted the martyrdom of his son Vikram Batra with pride. Vikram Batra attained martyrdom during the Kargil war of 1999. Captain Batra was awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his indomitable courage and bravery.
