The body of Vetri Duraisemi of Tamil Nadu, who went missing on Monday afternoon, has been recovered. The father of the deceased had announced to give Rs 1 crore to the person who finds his son’s body.

The body of Vetri Duraisamy (45), from Tamil Nadu, who went missing in the Sutlej river in a road accident in Kashang drain in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, has been recovered at around 2:00 pm on Monday.

The body has been recovered near Pangi drain. Complete information has been given by Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur Dr. Amit Kumar Sharma. He said that the body has been recovered by the team of Mahunag Diving Association Sudarnagar Mandi. The Deputy Commissioner said that on February 4, in an accident near Kashang drain on National Highway 5, an Innova vehicle fell into the Sutlej river and one of the three persons traveling in the vehicle died on the spot, while one person was injured, who was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment and a search operation was launched for Vetri Duraisamy from Tamil Nadu, who was missing in the accident.
