- Lok Sabha Election 2024: Congress Seeks Applications From Workers Willing To Contest Lok Sabha Elections 2024 On Party Ticket.
For the four Lok Sabha seats of Himachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee has submitted applications on plain paper from all interested party leaders, office bearers as well as all active Congress party workers for party tickets.
Himachal Pradesh Congress Organization General Secretary Rajneesh Kimta told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma on Wednesday that On the guidelines of All India Congress Committee, Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee has invited applications from all interested candidates for party tickets from Congress party leaders, officials and active workers for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024. All applications are going to be accepted from 9th February to 15th February 2024 only.
All applications must be submitted on plain paper along with an amount of Rs 10,000.
Rajneesh Kimta also said that all the applications are going to be accepted at Himachal Pradesh Congress Headquarters Rajiv Bhawan, Shimla only till 5:00 pm on February 15, 2024. Any application received after February 15 will not be considered.
