Sudhir Sharma, former minister of Himachal Pradesh government and current Congress MLA from Dharamshala assembly constituency, has also donned the colors of Lord Shri Ram. Congress Party MLA from Dharamshala Sudhir Sharma is going to install LED screens at four places in Dharamshala assembly constituency for the live telecast of the life consecration program of Lord Ramlalla in Ayodhya city on Monday, 22 January. Under Dharamshala assembly constituency, four places including Dadi Mela Maidan, Kachari Chowk, Bhagsunag have been selected for installation of LED screens.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad officials, after meeting Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma at his residence yesterday, have also invited MLA Sudhir Sharma for the Pran Pratishtha program to be held in Ayodhya on Monday, January 22. The invitation for 22 January Pran Pratishtha program has been confirmed by Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma himself and Sudhir Sharma has said that Lord Shri Ram is a matter of faith for the whole of India. Lord Shri Ram should not be associated with politics. After receiving the invitation from Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma has taken an important decision to install four LED screens in Dharamshala assembly constituency for the Pran Pratishtha program.

A copy of the notification making Kangra district the second capital of Himachal Pradesh was posted by Sudhir Sharma, MLA from Dharamshala Assembly constituency, on his official social media account on Friday. The copy of the notification is also being discussed heavily in the political circles of Himachal Pradesh. Sudhir Sharma, MLA from Dharamshala assembly constituency, has written on his official Facebook account that on this day i.e. on 19 January 2017, in the important cabinet meeting of the Himachal Pradesh government, an important decision was taken to give Dharamshala the second capital of Himachal Pradesh and On March 3, 2017, a notification was issued by the then Principal Secretary of the Government of Himachal Pradesh declaring Dharamshala as the second capital of Himachal Pradesh. It is noteworthy that in the year 2017, when the important decision of making Dharamshala the second capital of Himachal Pradesh was taken, at that time the government of late Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh was in power in Himachal Pradesh and the current MLA Sudhir Sharma was in the cabinet in the Virbhadra government of the year 2017.

But till date Dharamshala has not got the status of the second capital of Himachal Pradesh. However, the present Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Government, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has been talking in many public forums about making Kangra district his second home and making Kangra district the tourism capital of Himachal Pradesh.

Sudhir Sharma, the current MLA of Congress Party from Dharamshala assembly constituency, has earlier extended his full support to the movement regarding the Dhauladhar campus to be built in Jadrangal of Central University, Dharamshala.

Recently, Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma has also lodged an FIR in Yale police post regarding the entire matter of uprooting solar lights on Adi Himani Chamunda Devi Temple Road.
