Outsourced employees gave their services in Corona by risking their lives –
The dismissed outsourced employees were appointed in the Corona wards and OPDs of all the main hospitals of Himachal Pradesh, and the responsibility of all the lab test reports of the Corona patients was also handed over to the outsourced employees. All these employees have been fired from their jobs by the Himachal Pradesh government. Himachal Pradesh Corona Outsourced Employees Union President Anjali Bhardwaj, while talking to Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma, said that due to Corona virus, Himachal Pradesh government had appointed staff nurses, lab technicians, ward boys, pharmacists, cooks and drivers and conductors. All the outsourced employees have served day and night in all the hospitals of Himachal Pradesh Government without taking any leave. By visiting villages during Corona virus, all the villagers were made aware about deadly diseases like Corona. Where teams of government employees were not able to reach, outsourced employees have provided their services.
Outsourced employees are not getting salaries for six months-
Despite providing major services in all the important hospitals of Himachal Pradesh, outsourced employees have not received salaries for the last six months. This serious issue has also been put before the government but despite only assurances, no action has been taken.
