Himachal News : Uproar over the issue of closure of various government institutions

Himachal News : During Question Hour, there was uproar over the issue of closure of various government institutions by the state government. Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur alleged that the present government has closed more than a thousand institutions so far.

Later, while talking to journalists, he said that BJP has also decided to gherao the Assembly on 25th September against the anti-people decisions of the government.

Jairam Thakur said – The way the government has been working in Himachal Pradesh for the last nine months. With a spirit of revenge, with malice, BJP did this, stop it. BJP did this, cancel it and this sequence is still going on. Has not stopped, hence Bharatiya Janata Party has also decided that they will surround the assembly on 25th.

Whether they have closed institutions, whether they have acted out of revenge. Not even a single guarantee has been fulfilled. Going to other states and giving speeches. We have fulfilled each and every guarantee, so this is more than this. Nothing can be a lie. There is a limit to lying. Now all limits have been crossed.

Intervening on the issue of closure of institutions, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the opposition can bring discussion if they want and the government is also ready to answer. He said that the state government has closed the institutions on the basis of survey and in future the need would arise. These institutions will be reopened only after making more appointments accordingly.
