Sukhu Government Has Not Yet Paid the Pension and Medical Bills of Retired Employees of Himachal Road Transport Corporation.
Himachal Road Transport Corporation – An important meeting of Himachal Road Transport Corporation Retired Employees Welfare Forum was held in Una today. During the meeting, the pensioners of the corporation expressed their anger over pension not being received yet and other financial benefits including payment of medical bills pending.
Una District President of the Manch, Ramesh Sharma said that the Himachal Pradesh government and the corporation management have not yet paid their pension to the elderly as per their promise. He also expressed strong protest against the government for not implementing the decisions of the State High Court.
Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation’s Una District President Rakesh Sharma told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that all the employees who earn their living in eleven ways have not yet received the pension amount to run their household. The ruling Congress government of Himachal Pradesh has only given the amount for the time being. -Bar is assuring that you will get pension as per the procedure of the department and staff but it is not received and every department, even all the employees and staff of electricity department gets the amount in a week, similarly in Himachal Road Transport Corporation, daily money is received. Still, no action is being taken regarding our demands, I ask Honorable Chief Minister Shri Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, are you going to make the same system changes in Himachal, our demands should be fulfilled as soon as possible.
