Akashvani Shimla organized Akashvani Sangeet Sabha today at Gaiety theatre, Shimla. Apart from Himachal, singers from Punjab and Haryana presented cultural programs on this.
Program Head of All India Radio Shimla Poonam Amrit Singh said that on the occasion of India getting the presidency of G20, All India Radio is organizing such cultural programs.
During this, Colonel Rana Lehru Ram, Sankhyan and Punjabi singer Yakub graced the event with their performances.
The coordinator of the program told – India has got the presidency in G20. On the occasion of that, we are doing these concerts all over India. Each region is doing it according to its own, so we are doing 4 music concerts in Shimla.
In Shimla programme, we have invited Gulabo Devi who is Padma Shri from Rajasthan, Yakub ji from Punjab and Joginder happy ji, Kanail Rana ji and Laharon Ram Sankhyan ji from Himachal Pradesh. We are doing this on the occasion of the national celebration.
