The controversy over selling apples on the basis of kg in the state is not taking the name of stopping. While the state government has decided to sell apples on the basis of kilos, Adatis are constantly opposing it.

Meanwhile, Horticulture Minister Jagatsingh Negi told in Shimla today that the brokers have been given time to implement the system of selling sev per kg within two days.

He said that the license of the jobbers who disobey the orders will be cancelled. Jagatsingh Negi made it clear that the government will not allow the interests of the gardeners to be played with and if needed, jobbers are being invited from outside as well.

I just want to say that the government has decided that whatever apples are available in the mandis, which has been issued in our notification, April 6, 2023, according to the provisions made in the same notification, apples which are sold by weight will be sold only according to those provisions, and if any trader violates this law, action will be taken against him.

Even after canceling their licenses, they will be thrown out of the mandis. On the other hand, Education Minister Rohit Thakur, who belongs to the Bahulya area, has also made this decision of the government in the interest of gardeners. He also urged the jobbers to implement this system.
