He said – again I want to thank Union Minister Nitin Gadkari ji, who has given three hundred crore rupees to Himachal Pradesh under the Bharat Setu Yojana, especially for the redevelopment of bridges which have been washed away.
I requested them that our Pandoh bridge has been washed away, our Buntar bridge has been washed away. The bridge in our Patli Kul has also been badly damaged in Manali and there are many other such bridges in the whole state which have been badly damaged, so I requested them that they have specially decided to give this three hundred crore rupees to the state for the construction of bridges. I also thank the central government from the bottom of my heart for this.
And I hope that soon this money will be given to the Central Himachal Pradesh government so that this work on war footing can start within the state. Vikramaditya Singh blamed illegal mining to a large extent for the damage caused by heavy rains in the state.
