Mandi Deputy Commissioner Adindam Chowdhary said that for the time being a security wall would be installed under MNREGA from the Beas river side in the Pandoh dam to stop the Beas river water from coming into the market and later for a permanent solution at the same place a limited riot would be imposed.

Mandi Deputy Commissioner Adindam Chowdhary said that for the time being a security wall would be installed under MNREGA from the Beas river side in the Pandoh dam to stop the Beas river water from coming into the market and later for a permanent solution at the same place a limited riot would be imposed.
Arindam Chowdhary was speaking on the occasion of distribution of relief amount to the flood victims in Pandoh. APMC Chairman Sanjeev Guleria said on the occasion that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has given great relief to the affected families by deciding to give immediate relief of one lakh rupees to the flood victims.
In the governments till date, the loss of people used to be in lakhs of crores, but to avoid this, the government has not given an amount above ten to fifteen thousand till date, but I would like to thank Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu ji who ordered the administration immediately.
Twenty-five thousand lamps were given as immediate relief and after that we have been ordered today that I myself have been ordered to go and distribute one lakh rupees in relief work, for that we will thank the state government and the Honorable Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu.
The flood victims who got the relief amount also thanked the government for this help. He said – We had a flood here and during that we got a little relief fund from the administration first and after that we are very grateful to our CM sir who announced one lakh to us which was given to us here today.
