Shimla News : Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today flagged off two vehicles filled with relief material for the disaster affected areas in Mandi through the Red Cross Society
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today flagged off two vehicles carrying relief materials for the disaster affected areas in Mandi through red cross society from Shimla.
He said that natural calamity has caused huge damage to life and property in the state and it is difficult to compensate for it. But the affected can be helped by providing relief.
He said that the Union Home Ministry is keeping an eye on this disaster in the state and immediate relief is being provided.
The Governor said that he has decided to donate one month to the Disaster Relief Fund. Shiv Pratap Shukla has also appealed to the people to voluntarily contribute to the Disaster Relief Fund to help the disaster affected.
