And the Yamuna river and Markanda river flowing along Paonta Sahib and other small river drains are in spate. The sequence of rains is continuing in Sirmaur district for the last three days.
Due to heavy rains yesterday, most of the roads in Sirmaur district are completely blocked for traffic and for this reason dozens of HRTC routes are also blocked due to which people are facing difficulties in movement somewhere.
However, the Public Works Department has started efforts to restore the road. On the other hand, after heavy rains in Sirmaur district, rivers and streams are also in spate and there are continuous reports of landslides from many places.
In such a situation, the Sirmaur district administration has appealed to the people to be alert, and in this appeal it has also been said that if necessary, travel only at such times because there is still a possibility of frequent landslides.
