Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a three-day visit to Australia, on Wednesday raised the issue of attacks on temples in the country. He said Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has assured strict action against such elements in the future.
During a joint address with Australian PM Albanese, PM Modi said that Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and I have discussed the issue of attacks on temples and activities of separatist elements in Australia in the past. We discussed this matter even today.
PM Modi said that we will not accept any such element which by their actions or views harms the friendly and cordial relations between India-Australia relations. PM Albanese today once again assured me that he will take strict action against such elements in future also.
