Lucknow: An arrest warrant has been issued against Mukhtar Anasari’s son Umar by MP/MLA court in a matter related to illegal construction.
A special court has issued an arrest warrant against Umar Ansari, son of mafia Mukhtar Ansari, accused of fraudulently capturing enemy property in Jiamau area and getting it registered fraudulently. MPMLA Special ACJM Ambareesh Srivastava fixed the matter for further hearing on April 24.
In this case, after investigation, the police has filed a charge sheet against Mukhtar Ansari, Abbas Ansari and Umar Ansari. During the hearing of the case, the police continued to present Mukhtar in the court. He could not be produced in the court as sons Umar and Abbas were absconding. On this, the court separated Mukhtar’s file from that of Abbas and Umar and ordered separate hearing of both these cases.
Earlier, during the hearing of the case, the jailed accused and MLA Abbas Ansari was presented in the court through video conferencing but the other accused Umar Ansari did not appear in the court. On this, the court had also issued an arrest warrant against Umar, but the police could not get it executed. The report of this matter was lodged by Lekhpal Surjan Lal on August 27, 2020 at Hazratganj police station. In which it was alleged that Mukhtar Ansari and his sons Abbas and Umar Ansari, by preparing forged documents, made illegal constructions on government eviction land by illegally getting the map passed from LDA.
