People of the exiled Tibetan community in the Buddhist town of Mcleodganj have protested against China’s claim of changing the names of 11 places in Arunachal Pradesh. People and officials of the Mcleodganj Tibetan community said that China is not deterring from its tactics. Dragon has once again tried to claim some places in India as its own. China has claimed to have changed the names of 11 places in Arunachal Pradesh. China says that these places are part of southern Tibet. The tension between India and China has been going on for a long time. In between, China does such activities which widen the gap of tension. The Ministry of Civil Affairs of China released the names of 11 places which are located in Arunachal Pradesh. The set of names includes the names of two residential areas, two terrains, five hilly areas and two rivers. Tibetans in the Buddhist town of Mcleodganj have expressed anger over China’s claim of changing the names of 11 places in Arunachal Pradesh. He said that there is no wall of any kind on the border between India and China, due to which China keeps on tampering. China is torturing people by occupying the land. China has done this for the third time. Earlier in April 2017 and December 2021, he had done a similar act. In 2021, a list of names of 15 places was released. The Central Tibetan Administration has strongly condemned this move of China. hdm
Arunachal has been, and will remain, an integral part of India.
National General Secretary of Indo-Tibet Cooperation Forum Pankaj Goyal said that this is not the first time that China has done this. We dismiss it. Arunachal has always been and will remain an integral part of India. This fact cannot be changed by changing the name. He said that giving coined names to places in Arunachal does not change this fact.
