Himachal Government Supplementary Budget 2023-Diarytimes
The Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh placed a supplementary budget of Rs 13141.07 crore for the financial year 2022-23 on the table of the House on Tuesday. The supplementary budget presented in the House on Wednesday will be passed after discussion.
IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT BUDGET
- In the supplementary budget presented by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Rs 11707.68 crore has been earmarked for state sponsored schemes and Rs 1433.39 crore for centrally sponsored schemes.
- Rs 6004.63 crore for Wages and Means and Overdraft under State Schemes, Rs 1260.65 crore for Pension and Retirement
- Rs 209.33 crore for Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti Yojana, optical cable fiber network and digital expansion of government departments.
- Rs 208.42 crore for pending obligations of crop insurance scheme, crop diversification, market mediation scheme and garden development project.
- Rs 156.91 crore to rural local bodies Grant, Salary of Zila Parishad staff and grant under 15th Finance Commission
- Rs.154.71 crore for roads and bridges
- Rs.128.71 crore for rail projects, Rs.108.70 crore for capacity development project.
CENTRAL SCHEMES
Under Centrally Sponsored Schemes, Supplementary demand is proposed for funding ongoing and new schemes, for which money has been received during the year from the Union Government.
- These included Rs 400 crore for disaster management received under NDRF, Rs 221.
- 96 crore for Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme MGNREGS, Rs 141.
- 78 crore for Smart City Mission, Rs 140.
