Tamil Nadu: Forest fire breaks out near Kodaikanal hills-Diarytimes
A fire that broke out near the Kodaikanal hills in Dindigul district in Tamil Nadu on Thursday, continues to spread across the forest, sending shockwaves to the nation.
As per media reports, the fire was reported on the Perimalmalai Peak. It occured on Thursday midnight in the Manjur forest area, which later spread to Mayiladum Parai and Kurusadi forest area since Friday morning.
The video by the news agency ANI shows the dense smoke and huge flames of fire in the forest.
