PM Modi Wears A Jacket Made Of Mate Recyecelld From Plastic Bottles ?
- During the Budget Session of 2023, in the parliament, PM Modi was reported to wear a sleeveless jacket. This jacket is reported, made up of recycled material from plastic bottles. The jacket was light blue.
- The jacket was given to PM Modi by Indian Oil Corporation, during Energy Week, which was celebrated in Bengaluru. The sleeveless jacket was an example of the new uniform adopted by the Indian Oil Corporation, under the banner, to phase out single-use plastic.
- Indian Oil has adopted uniforms made of recycled polyester (rPET) and cotton. Each set of uniforms takes up to a material made of 28 recycled bottles.
- PM Modi inaugurated the launch of these uniforms under the brand “UNBOTTLED”.
