Shimla Center of Meteorological Department said that the weather will be clear from March 7 to March 9. After this, the weather will change again from March 10 and there are chances of rain and snowfall for three days. In the last 24 hours, three centimeters of snow has fallen in Sangla, Kinnaur. At the same time, Tourist City Manali has received 10 mm of rain.

Tourists trapped in Kaza were rescued By Himachal Pradesh Police –

A large number of tourists were stranded due to snowfall in Kaza sub-division of Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. The roads were closed due to heavy snowfall. Now the road has been restored till Pooh of Kinnaur. Himachal Pradesh Police has given this information. Himachal Pradesh Police said that 35 vehicles have been sent from Kaza towards Pooh. A total of 160 tourists have been evacuated. At present, all the tourists are safe.

Temperature also dropped due to rain and snowfall –

Due to heavy rain and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, there has been a drop in temperature. The minimum temperature in Shimla has been recorded at 4.1 degrees. Similarly, it was 7.1 degrees in Sundernagar of Mandi district, 6.2 in Bhuntar of Kullu, -1.6 in Kalpa of Kinnaur, 8.3 in Dharamshala of Kangra, 6.5 in Una, 8.9 in Nahan, 5.0 in Palampur, 5.0 in Solan, 2.6 in Manali, 8.4 in Kangra, 7.3 in Bilaspur, 9.8 in Chamba, 3.2 in Dalhousie, 2.7 in Kufri, -6.8 in Kukumseri, 0.5 in Narkanda and 9.3 degree Celsius in Dhaulakuan.
